The Evac OnlineMax is currently the most powerful and energy efficient vacuum collecting system on the market. The Max concept was specially designed as an energy efficient way to meet the continuously increasing demands for better vacuum capacity on large vessels. The OnlineMax pump offers significant long-term operational savings – the bigger the vessel, the bigger the financial benefit.
Multiple advantages
- High-capacity, low-footprint design
- Quick and flexible installation
- High energy efficiency
- Simple, fully automatic operation
- Robust design and quality, reliable components
- No foaming and no need for antifoaming chemicals
- No collecting tank needed
- Vacuum performance independent of discharge head
- Discharge up to 20 metres
- No cooling or sealing water
Operation
The working principle behind the OnlineMax is that the two-phase air/sewage mixture is separated into two independent phases, sewage and air. Each phase is handled by a separate pump. A vacuum switch continuously monitors the vacuum level in the pipes and automatically starts the working cycle of both pumps simultaneously when the level drops. When the preset vacuum level is reached, both pumps return to their static state.
The vacuum pump works using the claw principle. The non-contact operation means that there is no wear on the pump. The pump housing and claws are coated against corrosion, and the pump is capable of conveying water vapour. A filter prevents solid particles and dust from entering the pump, and an isolation valve protects the pump in the event of unit malfunction.
The sewage pump is an online, self-priming rotary lobe pump, which pumps the sewage without heavy maceration. The lighter maceration allows larger particles through for improved sewage pre-filtration.
